160 Awards total!

10 in each Section (8 Sections in all; 2 Judgings):

  • 1 PSA Gold Medal (Best of Show)
  • 1 CVDCC Gold Medal
  • 2 CVDCC Silver Medals
  • 3 CVDCC Bronze Medals
  • 3 Judge's Choice Medals

and Honorable Mentions according to judges.

 

PSA medals (Best of Show) will be sent by first-class mail by the date specified in the Calendar at left. At most 2 attempts will be made to deliver the medal at Exhibition expense in the event of failed deliveries. 

 

All other Awards and Honorable Mentions will be distributed electronically in the form of handsome digital certificates - that may be printed locally or stored electronically. Each certificate contains a reproduction of the accepted image.

 

Delays and losses associated with international mailings and the steep rising costs of postage have driven us in this direction. Many entrants have also told us that they prefer this form of recognition since the certificates provide new and more convenient ways to store their results either in digital files or in binders when printed; hang the printed certificates on their walls; and  share their successes online with family and friends!

 

Catalogs & Galleries

The official catalog of the Exhibition will be in the form of a PDF downloadable from the Exhibition website. Other catalogs and galleries containing images or with links to images will also be made available.  For examples of catalogs and online galleries from prior year Coachella exhibitions, click here.

When available, the catalogs will be downloadable from this website's Catalog page.

Image Format

(See  Conditions of Entry Part B for more detail).

Digital images must be in JPEG format and not exceed 1920 pixels in width and 1080 pixels in height. Filesize must be not greater than 2mb. .

Target Range

(See  Conditions of Entry Part B for more detail).

 No more than 35% of all images entered into a given Section will be accepted. This Exhibition also sets as a target that no fewer than 29% of all images entered into a given Section will be accepted.

Entrants are also automatically subscribed to the combined S4C/Coachella mailing list. 

This is a required condition of entering this Exhibition.

 

This list is not shared with anyone other than the management of the S4C and Coachella exhibitions

and is only used for the purposes of these exhibitions.

 

This mailing list is separate from the limited mailing list that FotoSalons software uses

for emailing entrants about exhibition results and other exhibition purposes of Coachella International 2023.

 

Coachella also does not participate in the FotoSalons mailing services, so entrants are not automatically added to the FotoSalons mass mailing lists.
